On Sunday, April 25, 2021, Assoc. Prof. Domagoj Šimić from the Agricultural Institute Osijek was a guest on the radio show "Emisija za selo i poljoprivredu" (Show for Village and Agriculture) on the First Program of Croatian Radio.
Assoc. Prof. Domagoj Šimić describes the project "IoT-field", cooperation with FER and FERIT, introduction to the concept of "Internet of Things" and further plans of the project, given that the project is in its 2nd year and the installation of sensors in the fields has begun. In the interview, professor Šimić talks about the acceptance and application of smart agriculture in Croatia and how important it is to predict and take preventive action based on sensory and satellite data, and not just cause-and-effect.
